Privacy policy

Stroll Parks collects only the minimum data needed to operate the site. We do not require visitors to register, log in, or provide any personal information to read any of our park guides. Pages are server-rendered HTML; you can browse the entire site without JavaScript, and you can disable cookies entirely without losing access to any content.

What we collect

Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) are retained for up to 30 days for security and aggregate-traffic analysis. We do not link these logs to any other data set or transfer them to advertising partners.

Advertising

This site does not currently display advertising and does not set advertising cookies. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated first.

Analytics

We use privacy-respecting analytics that aggregate page-view counts without setting persistent identifiers in the visitor's browser. We do not sell, share, or transfer analytics data.

Your choices

You can browse anonymously using a VPN, a private browsing window, or any standard tracking-blocker. None of those measures will limit access to Stroll Parks content. Email correspondence with the editors is retained only as long as needed to handle the request.
