Privacy policy

NationalParkDrift collects only the minimum data needed to operate the site. We do not require visitors to register, log in, or provide any personal information to read any of our park guides. Pages are server-rendered HTML; you can browse the entire site without JavaScript, and you can disable cookies entirely without losing access to any content.

What we collect

Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) are retained for up to 30 days for security and aggregate-traffic analysis. We do not link these logs to any other data set or transfer them to advertising partners.

Advertising

This site displays ads to fund editorial work. Ad slots are clearly marked in the page source as HTML comments. Advertising partners may set their own cookies for measurement and personalization. You can opt out of personalized advertising at the partner level — we link to the standard industry opt-out tools at the bottom of this page.

Analytics

We use privacy-respecting analytics that aggregate page-view counts without setting persistent identifiers in the visitor's browser. We do not sell, share, or transfer analytics data.

Your choices

You can browse anonymously using a VPN, a private browsing window, or any standard tracking-blocker. None of those measures will limit access to NationalParkDrift content. Email correspondence with the editors is retained only as long as needed to handle the request.
